We're now a month out from beginning our work to start a New United Methodist Church in Krum, and my family and I are so excited to begin this vital ministry in a fast-growing community! God is up to something out there and soon I'll be getting the chance to talk to the people of Krum about what that is!
In the meantime, we're raising the funds to get the plant off the ground. May of you have donated already to this cause and I'm so thankful for your blessings. Leanne and I, as of this month, are also tithing to our future church, and trusting in what God has called us to.
The Center for Church Development is helping us getting started with a matching grant that will give us $2 for every $3 we raise (up to $30,000). That means, every $3 you give turns into $5.
