Since 2012, The Liturgy Nerd has been about this one thing:
“LITURGY (from Gr. leitourgia, “work of the people”)
The service of God offered by the people of God in divine worship.”
And, it's still about that thing, this "work of the people."
Yet, things do change! In July of 2023, Jarrod and his family are embarking on a new journey: planting a new United Methodist Church in Krum, Tx, just outside of Denton.
The work of the people is to build the church of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world, one community at a time, by the grace of God. Thank you for following along!
God is up to something out there and soon I'll be getting the chance to talk to the people of Krum about what that is!
